Judo is the most widely practiced martial art on the planet.
Judo was founded in Japan by Professor Jigoro Kano in 1882. Judo is a "way of life" that infuses the most efficient of centuries old martial arts technique with disciplined physical & mental fitness training. The activity is designed for males and females of all ages and abilities.

Judo Competition - In an international competition style Judo match, players attempt to throw an opponent onto his back to score a full point or "Ippon". An "Ippon" can also be scored with a hold down, choke, or arm bar (chokes and arm bars are used in adult matches only). "Ippon" is equivalent to a pin in wrestling or a knockout in boxing.

Kata - As in other martial arts, Judo offers "Kata" performance where technique proficiency is demonstrated.
